American Steamship called and I am to be Chief Chef on the M/V American Century.
Its a 6 week stint as a relief for the permanent chef.
So its back to menu planning and reviewing recipes for me. Have to make this chance count. Could lead to a permanent position on another ship. I'm supposed to leave somewhere between the 1st to the 6th. All depends on the schedule.
I was told one of the reasons I got the call was my education at the Great Lakes Culinary Institute.
That's very true because I applied to them in February and my information didn't have the last 2 jobs I held.
Im very excited about this and cant wait to ship out, Il keep the blog updated as I can.
